The Vast Expertise
With built-in technologies such as cruise control, hydraulic head adjustment and rod shaking speed reducer, GREGOIRE’s new “100 series” provides the guarantee of greater flexibility and enhanced comfort at work whatever the type of vineyard.
New Generation Picking Head
The Gregoire picking head has often been copied, but never bettered. This suspended, pendular head has the best performance of any harvesting system on the market. The head system is suspended from shock-absorbing wishbones, lines up automatically over the vine row providing greater flexibility to avoid damaging vines and trellising. This simple, reliable system is very gentle to vegetation and ensures that the harvest will be of top quality. Our “new generation ARC harvesting system is equipped with guaranteed unbreakable, untwistable, molded picking rods (patented by GREGOIRE). There are only 4 centralized lubricators for easier maintenance. A number of technological advances have made it possible to simplify picking head adjustments to a considerable extent.
Keeping the Grapes Clean to Preserve Quality
The lower fans, equipped with shredders, remove any leaves before they come into contact with the grape juice, thus ensuring that only the grapes are brought to the winery. Fan speed is controlled by a computer in the driver’s field of vision. Lower fan rotating speed may be adjusted from the driver’s seat. The upper fans, mounted on the bins are useful for optimizing grape quality in certain types of vineyards. The fans may be adjusted independently, but they are started simultaneously.
An Outstanding Engine
The 100 series are equipped with a smooth running PERKINS engine that makes very little noise for and extraordinarily comfortable ride. This top-of-range, supercharged, direct injection, water-cooled engine is capable of running lower speed with optimum torque, for greater efficiency and a longer useful life. Efficient all-terrain transmission: The Twin-Lock antiskid system and POCLAIN all-wheel drive transmission combined with 4-wheel drive, make this drive-unit highly maneuverable and prevent any risk of slipping under difficult conditions. The machine’s very low center of gravity makes it possible to work up and down as well as along steep slopes – a real all-terrain drive unit.
Central Driver’s Seat - Exclusive to GREGOIRE
The central driver’s seat provides an excellent view of all parts of the machine. The fact that the seat is directly above the vine row makes GREGOIRE machines more comfortable and safer to drive. The 100 series dashboard is not overburdened with onboard electronics, making the machine more reliable and easier to control. The cruise control and hydraulic head adjustment functions are operated very easily from the driver’s seat. The ergonomically designed dashboard facilitates constant monitoring of these systems (forward speed and shaking frequency are displayed on constant readouts). The main controls are centralized on an “ERDO-DRIVE” joystick. The cabin is mounted on 4 shock absorbers for greater comfort and quieter operation. It is ventilated, heated, and air-conditioned to provide optimum working conditions. GREGOIRE cabs are the most spacious and easily accessible on the market. The fully adjustable steering column and pneumatic seat are adaptable to suit the driver’s height and weight
The 100 series are especially suited to multi-function use in all types of vineyards, handling the toughest conditions with maximum efficiency, thus achieving an all-year-round return on your investment. The harvesting system may be dismounted very quickly and the connectors and adaptors have been designed by the manufacturer to handle a range of accessories: sprayer, pre-pruner, trimmer etc. The multi-functional chassis has been especially developed for compatibility with accessories for use at every stage in the vine’s growing cycle. As part of the KVERNLAND group, GREGOIRE works closely with PARIS and LAGARDE, firms specialized in spraying and trimming. The models in the 100 series are also compatible with other equipment available on the market.
